The cels are displayed in the following sequence: cel 1, cel 2, cel 3, cel 4, cel 5, cel 4, cel 3, cel 2, cel 1. There is a 40/100 second delay between most of the cels, with a 60/100 second delay for the cat's smile.

The resulting animated GIF was surprisingly large -- over 40K -- so I optimized it. I tried two different things: submitting the animated GIF to GIF Wizard and running Ulead GIF Animator's built-in optimization wizard. In both cases, the nicest result was an 8-color GIF (where the "colors" here are shades of gray) with a size of about 12K.
