The Golden Temple (Sri Darbar Sahib) too is such a unique confluence of the Nirguna and the Sarguna, so thrilling and fascinating that one's sense of admiration and wonder remains ever enthralled.

This holy place embodies in itself all the lofty aspirations of the Sikh Community. By asking Mian Mir, a Muslim divine to lay the foundation stone, Guru Arjan has shown that friendship between the Kindred souls and "men of faith" smiles and glows transcendent like this. That is why many muslim poets have often sung thus:-

The whole world is eager, waiting to come and see Darbar Sahib freely and openly. My only prayer to God Almighty is to grant success and victory to the community in each and every field of life.
