Mother by Jana Wolff: This book starts out rough on birthmothers,
but keep reading. She begins to empathize and understand the true
pain of the birthmother as the book continues. It's also an excellent
look into the road a woman walks on the way towards finally choosing adoption
as her way to become a parent.
The Courage to Teach
by Parker J. Palmer: This book is not about adoption, but is about
the importance of community in the lives of our children and ourselves.

a sense of community and wholeness into their lives and into the world
of adoption.
