Misery
I stand outside myself
I look to see what I can see
But all around is misery
It stretchs on in front of me

A path, a trail, I see no way
To turn and walk the other way
I step inside, and feel it now
I must stand tall but I don't know how

The weight crushes me down inside
I have no place where I can hide
The walls close in, the end is near
To be alone is what I fear

I made my choice, the fault is mine
You say that all I need is time
But you have her and she has you
And there is nothing I can do
