Multimedia and Keats

Multimedia in nontechnical educational environments is also becoming widespread. Fred Moramarco and Jerry Griswold, Professors of English at San Diego State University, have developed multimedia CD-ROMs entitled "The Poetry of John Keats," and "An Introduction to Poetry" that will include Shakespeare's sonnets and Andrew Marvell's "To His Coy Mistress." They are also working to bring children's literature and some other short fiction pieces to CD-ROM media. The professors make it clear that they do not see multimedia as an alternative to printed materials, so much as an adjunct to them. The intention is to present information in a new way to encourage further interest in the subject matter.
