Greetings everyone! First off all, I believe that an apology is in order. It has recently occurred to me that this site has been down for over three years. That is absolutely unacceptable! I have tried so many times over the years to work on this site, but every time I sat down to work on it, life seemed to get in the way. Also, I knew that I had wanted to give this site a new look. However, I never could decide on what sort of layout, color scheme, etc. I wanted. And, whenever I did find something I liked, it usually involved a lot of code I have not yet learned. But, after playing around with Photoshop a few weeks ago, I stumbled across this design. And, since that night, I have been working as hard as I can to get this site back up and running. One thing returning viewers will notice almost immediately is that, although this site is back up, there are a lot of items from the previous edition that are missing. There are two good reasons for this. First of all, although this site is back up, it is not yet complete. I wanted to get at least the bare minimum finished before I posted to the internet. This is still a work in progress, so check back here from time to time over the next few months for new material. Secondly, as I have said before, this site has been down for three years. A lot has changed since then. And, being that I would like to keep this site as up to date as possible, some of the old material will not be coming back. I would like to put everything here. But, being that I have such a limited amount of storage space to work with, this is just not possible. However, if there is anything anyone would like to have from my previous edition, please don't hesitate to ask. I know a lot of people were fond of all the photos I had on here, so if someone wants one that I decided to remove, I will be more than happy to send copies. And, if enough people request something, I will most likely bring it back. Also, returning viewers will notice that this site is almost all new material. All of the site graphics are brand-new and custom created by myself. Also, although some of the pieces themselves are not new - some dating all the way back to 1995 - all of the artwork in the gallery is new to this site. As for plans for future additions, I first plan on bringing back about half of the old photos (the better ones) as well as adding new ones. I am still not entirely sure yet what I want to put in this section (the library) and in the bio section, but I am sure I will figure this out eventually. And, of course, I will be adding new things to the gallery as time goes on. Actually, the only thing that isn't new about this site is the coding itself. But, this is something only professional web masters and code junkies would notice. Unfortunately, I have not learned any new code since 2000. Everything on this site is laid out using tables, and this can give anyone trying to sort out the source code quite a headache. Also, it may cause the site to load a bit slower than more professional sites. However, since I have recently started the Graphic Arts program - with some classes focusing on web design and coding - this is something that I may change within the next year or two. And, of course, if there is anyone out there with coding suggestions, I would welcome all the help I can get. Well, I believe that covers just about everything. So, just kick back, and enjoy the new site. And, please feel free to send me any comments you have about this site. I welcome all the feedback I can get. And, again, sorry about the delayed return.
