Farm Landscape

This was an assignment for my watercolor class. It is a copy of a photo I took of my uncle's farm in West Virginia. I had trouble scanning this picture, so the original looks much better than this scan. This scan makes the grass look more yellow than what it actually is, and some of the areas with light color hardly showed up at all. I tried everything I could think of, but I could still not correct these problems without completely distorting the image all together. Maybe someday I will replace this scan with a photograph of the painting.
