CHOICE AND EXPLANATION

23.- Boredom-Entertainment :-) A thirsty person has to look for a Drink, and a bored one for Entertainment, while rest and sleep do not have to be lookrd for. The difficulty in choosing here lies in that Sleepiness and Tiredness are phisiological, while Boredom is psychological. In the present game, the fact that the two last pairs are equally suitable forces the choice in another direction.

This type of analogy game serves the purpose of analyzing criteria, based on clessification. The attribute here is perhaps: of availability.

24.- Violence-Non-violence :-) There is no opposite term for Violence. Non-violence is just the absence of Violence, as Peace is a state of no war. On the other hand, Enmity-Friendship are opposite feelings. Peace between peoples can exist in the absence of friendliness. Disease is the absence of health, yet the choice here is based on Violence being a characteristic of War. The attribute is by: being members of a similar class of paired words.
