Please, no duplicating, copying, or distribution without my consent. -------------------------------------------------------------- Our world holds many I am but one Lots are born each day I sit close to none Percentage wise I’m less than three In fact, if you’ll look You’ll not find me I mean so little I make no change In fact most think I'm rather strange To most I appear A nothing, blank I hold a zero Upon the river bank They’ve said as much That if I died They’d be happy And won’t have cried They’ve mentioned it They’ll get along Better in fact Without me to do wrong Of all the people That die each day And those are born Here’s what I say You’d think for me I wasn’t born For they show no feeling Only their scorn They say nothing When I’m there To show that maybe They kind of care But as it is They don’t miss at all I don’t exist I’m not even tall I’m a zero to most Less than one to the rest And yet maybe to them It’s for the best
