     There’s a wall between us
     Betwixt you and I
     And it grows ever taller
     The reason, I know not why

     There’s a wall between us
     A separator between the two
     A wall that sprung from nothing
     Is nothing, that is true

     You wall yourself in so carefully
     Letting me not inside
     What is it you’re hiding 
     What can’t you confide

     We used to be good friends
     But now, there’s this wall
     Invisible, impenetrable
     Maybe I don’t know you after all
