Please, no duplicating, copying, or distribution without my consent. -------------------------------------------------------------- What you see may not be real What you touch, you just can’t feel Those around you, don’t they know That those places, you just can’t go Your dream, abroad, inside your head But all these things, I know instead That reality, a mirror glass Sharp as stone, yet tough as brass Dreams, a bubble, broken, burst And it seems so much like a curse Shattered illusions all abound And everything still does confound Standing here with dreams gone wry And nothing to do but to cry Simple tears, yet not of joy What to do, an endless ploy Courage up, yet stand tall Things today are not it all Remember now, dreams can change And you are still no person strange Stand with dreams, don’t let them shun Don’t let them tell you it can’t be done Persistence in the end pays off And you will be the last to scoff
