Varna University of Economics is the oldest higher school of economics in Bulgaria. It is founded on May 14-th 1920. Over 50 000 specialists have graduated till now, almost 1000 of which came from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America countries. Varna University of Economics comprising 6 Faculties,  22 Departments, and more than 260 professors, readers, and assistants is one of the renowned centers of the science of economics in Bulgaria.
There are contemporary educational facilities, available at the University, including: computer equipped hall, language laboratories, film-show rooms, photographic and video halls, laboratories and large auditoriums.
To achieve high level of teaching, the University provides a rich library with over 250 000 volumes of book-stock, information service and Technology center, Modern Indoor Game sport center, hall for gymnastics, heavy athletics, wrestling, general physical training, chess, tennis and remedial gym.
        The University makes contacts with related educational establishments all over the world and participates in various international projects.
