POETRY BY CATEGORY

This section, called "Poetry by Category" will include poetry of many subjects:

--General good reading -- or "Good Verse"

--Words on nature -- the majesty and beauty
of it -- may their effect on you give
you pause to think of the planet we
live on and what past generations,
including ourselves, have done to her.

--Words on friendship (most still to come),
be patient!! My site is in a "transitional"
                      phase.

                    --Words on animals, endangered species,
                      environmental issues -- some statistics
my friends -- some of which you will not
                      like the reading of.

--Words on trees -- yes -- trees.....
they give beauty, they give strength,
they give grace to God's earth -- and
I have not as yet found a poem about
trees which I did not like. And yes,
trees are another "issue" with me....
                      deforestation is a serious dilemma.

--Words and poems of the moon -- this
out of pure fancy -- I love the moon --
                      I am a "night" person -- thus I find
little more lovely than the night sky.

--Poems of the "seasons" -- this may include
the seasons themselves, spring rain, May
                      winds, April showers, summer storms,
the dawning of the day, autumnal beauty,
winter snows, and the list goes on.

--Words about my Native American heritage,
we well as the issues therein. This
section will also contain poems which
may pertain to our earth, our wildlife,
and our planet, and what we as humans
have done in the pursuit of technology.

--What I refer to as "classics" -- poets
whose words are "timeless" in this reader's
opinion -- and will always be a pleasure
                      to read.

--What moves me -- whether actual poetry,
prose, iambic pentameter (Yes -- you will
                      find Shakespeare here eventually.), words
or lyrics of a particular song, words of
love, joy, heartache, sorrow, the spectrum
                      of human emotion.

--My "pet" section -- you will find many
                      "words" here....some written by others,
some written by some "unknown" person
who is venturing into "new" territory.

--Words of inspiration -- inspiration which
takes many forms -- depending upon the
                      reader.

--My favorite section -- "Words for the Soul".
A section of poetry which I find personally
to be some of the best for many and varied
reasons -- which shall remain known only to me.

All words. All moving in their way. All, "good verse". Enjoy your journey through my "poetic" world....it will be time not wasted -- for one should never lose the quest for knowledge -- and you never know when and where you will find it along your road in life.

"May the wind be always at your back. .....and "may God hold you in the palm of his hand."

          Good Journey to you.

NOTE: Categories, or "links" to the above will be added as this site progresses. I ask your patience, for as poet/mathematician/scientist Piet Hein would say, "Things Take Time".
