A pre-Great War photographic fad for producing the optical illusion of a 3-dimensional photograph. The photographs were taken simultaneously through lenses spaced at the approximate distance of the human eye and viewed through a frame to reconstitute the illusion of seeing a picture with "depth".
This is part of a collection of Stereographs I discovered while tidying up the attic.
This is a stereograph of a marble statue:

Benny The Bouncer ~ from Emerson, Lake and Palmers early 70s LP "Brain Salad Surgery", but done in the honkytonk piano style affected by Keith Emerson in his rendition of Meade Lux Lewises "Honky Tonk Train Blues".
"Benny was a bouncer at the Palais de Dance, He'd smash his grannys face in given half the chance...."
I'm a Believer and Daydream Believer ~ Two Monkees tracks from the mid-60s (it gets worse, doesn't it? *g*). I like these because they remind me of when I was *very* young, secretly listening to my transistor radio at night to Radio Caroline, Radio Luxembourg and Radio 1. Things seemed so much simpler then...
The Thunderbirds March ~ yes, the theme tune to Gerry Andersons meisterwerk - strings and all! I still wish I had a car like Lady Ps Roller - a missile mounted behind the radiator grille would soon sort out any road rage incidents! This is a particularly faithful midi rendition of the music.
The Avengers Theme ~ Because I like Emma Peel.... *g*
Someone to watch over me ~ a smoochy sentimental offering to round things off with!
