I guess I had different ideas about what two-demensional was supposed to mean than other people did. In my opinion, you can make any image two dimensional if you can print it in such a way as to de-emphasize depth and emphasize lines. I noticed that other people had some problems with such an open ended interpretation of the assignment. They took pictures of dirt and grass and air-vents.
This assignment wasn't as bad as the first. We had a bit more room to do some interesting things. I played around with different patterns, and found that "flat" things weren't always flat and vice versa. Several people in class had difficulties with imagination. 2D does not mean it has to be a wall.
