I Mother Earth

February 1st, 1997
The Warehouse, Toronto, ON
with Moist, headling for Mudgirl

Yet again another great concert. IME performs with a tonne of energy and knew exactly how to get the crowd hyped. They played all the singles from both albums as well as the other tracks that are popular with the fans. During "Used To Be Alright", Edwin invited the audience to (in his words)"sing a song together, guys", kinda cool when you can sing together with so many people you may never see again. One of the highlights of their set was Edwin's drum solo during "Rain Will Fall". Absolutely amazing.

The Warehouse is a pretty good sized club... not huge but to very small. Either way, it's set up so that you have a great view of the stage from anywhere you are. And the sound wasn't crap either. Only problem was the numerous screaming teeny boppers who wouldn't stop screaming for Edwin.
