ANA PATRICIA LOPEZ SILVA

Ana is a little girl who lived with her mother in the prison. When she was nearing her third birthday, it was necessary to find a place for her to live, as children are not permitted to live with their mothers in the prison beyond that age.

She went to live with some of the mother's family, but she was abused. When she came to visit her mother in the prison, there were marks on her body, and the social worker from the prison asked the orphanage if we would be able to take Ana.

When Ana arrived, whe was very afraid, and very hesitant to accept the love that was offered to her. She has slowly become more loving and trusting, and is also feeling safer around adults. We trust that as she learns about the love of Jesus that there will be great changes in her life.
