Explore the meaning of the passage. To help you understand it and apply its message to your life, ask yourself such questions as these:

1. What is the main point of the passage?
2. What does it teach about God - Father, Son and the Holy Spirit?
3. What is the teaching for me - is there a command to obey, a sin to avoid, a promise to believe, an example to follow, a new thought about God Himself?
4. What action can I take today

"Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever." (Psalm 106:1)

• CONFESS any failures, remembering that sin builds barriers.

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
• TELL God your needs- and the needs of others.

"Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6)

"…my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

• ASK God to help you put into practice what you have learnt

"If you love Me, keep My commandments." (John 14:15)

1. Adoration - praise and worship of the soul to God. Psalm 95:6
2. Confession - Repentance and turning from every known sin. Psalm 32:5
3. Thanksgiving - thankful for anything, everything, joys and sorrows, Philippians 4:6
4. Supplication - intercession, petitions, requests and desires, 1 Timothy 2:1
