These are in no particular order, I have a hard time ranking things.
Let's just say these are a few of my favorites, they may change from time
to time. If you haven't seen them, check them out. If I've left a film off that
you think deserves to be here, let me know in the guestbook, or by e-mail.
Here goes:
Dead Poet's Society- perhaps truelly my favorite.
Somewhere in Time- sentimental favorite, for all of you hopeless romantics out there.
Harvey- if you haven't see Jimmy Stewart in this film, watch it.
Apocolypse Now- I just love the smell of napalm in the morning.
Shawshank Redemption-
The Usual Suspects- Kevin Spacey deserved the Oscar for this one.
Braveheart- best battle scenes on film, and a great story to boot.
The Princess Bride- "As you wish. . ."
St. Elmo's Fire- I probably like this one because I was the target audience when it came out, see the brat pack in action.
Citizen Kane
Sabrina- the original, with Audrey Hepburn, though the new one's not bad.
Roman Holiday- you can's go wrong with Audrey.
Pulp Fiction- the original in your face wacky film.
Good Will Hunting- Robin Williams delivers another Dead Poet's calabre performance.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead- Take that, Shakespeare!
Bullworth- Pay attention, listen beyond the laughter, just about sums it all up.
12 Angry Men- Both versions are really good.
What Dreams May Come- Very moving film, yes it's a cheesy love story at heart but the fundamental message is great.
Not to mention that is is visually stunning.
The Razor's Edge-the newer version with Bill Murray
The Blair Witch Project- fantastically different "horror" film. Makes you wonder if it's true!
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels- better than Pulp Fiction? You decide, but definately close!
Titus A fascinating take on Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus
Being John Malkovich- original, hilarious...
William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet-
