1. Chaldeic Religion:

worshipping Satan isn’t new, in Syria, Iraq, turkey and Russia there are more than 300,000 people called chaldeans and they worship Satan and they call him the king peacock, and they bring about him offertories, prayers...etc.

This religion is an official in Syria and Iraq.. and the history of this religion goes back 2500 years ago, then it got affected and modified a little by Christianity then by Islam, and most of these people live in mountain singar in Iraq... and they have a myth.. that they are the sons of Adam himself.

What are there believes??

They believe that there is a great god a creator for this universe, but he assigned or the duties of taking care of this universe to the king peacock, (Satan). so they glorify him, and worship and pray for him to the extend that they forgot about the great god .

The King Peacock, is the great angel that sinned before god from the beginning of the creation, so god had punished him and he stayed crying for 7,000 years, till he filled 7 containers with his tears which he had spelled into hell and he put off its fire so god forgave him and returned him to his previous status as the director and the care taker of the universe.. Because of that the chaldeics think that any other religion that curse Satan are wrong ..

Prophets and holy books in chaldeic religion:

- They believe that there are seven angels taking care of the universe and there leader is the peacock who is the main communicator between god and human.. and god sends always the peacock in human body to his creator to bring them back to the right ways, and these are the chaldeic prophets.. from them Sheik Addy Abn Messafer, his there holy man and he is the one that wrote there holy book (Al-Gloah), and there second holy book is the (rush) or the black bible which has some rules like.( ..don’t eat fish, in respect of Jonah the prophet - don’t eat got in respect of our father Abraham the shepherd, they don’t eat meat in respect to the peacock, they don’t urinate standing, not to say the word Satan, or any synomenon of it ).. and till a very near time they refused to send there kids to schools, and they lived in district areas..

Satan was known to the pharaohs, and the god "set" is the satanic god. In the forth century some of the Moslem sofees liked Satan and glorified him, they were called Tawouseen.

Also there are some books that were written for Christians and spread in some villages in upper Egypt, one is The prayer of saint Mary the iron loser, unfortunately some people had read them and believed what’s in them.

One of this lies in this book is

" I pray to you Great flower - Satan - with your great hidden name which is sofar, and by the army that walk with you.... and each one touches this holy water - the water they pray one by this prayer - will be renewed and become born again and becomes as the day he was born".. ( here we notice the contradiction because the renewal of the person done only once by baptism, and going back to the primary status is canceling all the blessing we get by baptism and bringing us back to the primary sinful status.)

2. Satanic churches in the new era:

These churches started to grow very much lately in the united states specially in the past thirty years. Some people with super natural abilities that they could use nail and long needles and they pierce there bodies with them without being hurt or without injuring them selves.. and hey believed that Satan is the reason beyond this power and they led so many of the American youth in the same practice.

Anthon szandor lavey was the pope and founder of the church of Satan he started it in 1966 in San Francisco, he also wrote so many books about the satanic worship including (The Satanic bible) also (Satanism the hidden religion), (Satanic Rituals) and (Satan Notebook) he died last year and his son Anthony lavey is taking over his fathers leadership.

Their symbol is the inverted cross, there priests do lots of vulgar actions during there worship, also they offer human offertories to Satan some times.. all this so Satan can help them and give them the extra ordinary powers they need..

Glorifying Satan in our world isn’t a strange idea, but the bible said about it toward the end of times which will lead to the world accepting the Anti-Christ on his arrival... that’s what the bible talks about in Thessalonians 2 (4:10) "That man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes and exalts himself above all that called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as god sit in the temple of god, shewing himself that he is god. ..... and then shall that wicked Be revealed, whom the lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming. Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

1. His Nature:

Satan was a Cherub and archangel, god created him with the rest of angels as spirits "who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers flaming fire" (psalm 104:4), so Satan is a creature from an angelic nature, spirit, with limited abilities and presence.. was given power by god as an archangel, don’t eat, drink, nor get old or tired as humans.. also, Satan has an army of the fallen angels that followed him, and there nature changed from the glory of god to an evil nature..

2.What is Satan’s characters?

The prophet Ezekiel tells us "Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of ty’-rus (Satan), and say unto him, Thus said the lord god; you sealed up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. You have been in Eden the garden of god; every precious stone was you covering, the sardius, topaz and the diamond....,(that tells us about satins glory before the fall, and how he was loved by god as he was in the garden of Eden)... you are the Anointed cherub that covers and sets upon the holy mountain of god (as he is from the cherub level of angels, so he was full of eyes and knowledge, they are also close to god’s thrown and carriers of it) ...., you were perfect in all your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you (Satan was perfect in every thing before the fall) ...... I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of god; and I will destroy you, o covering cherub......I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.." (Ezekiel 28:11-19) and as you see the conclusion, in the end that the nature of Satan changed from holy to evil, impure, Immoral, rebellion, sinful and opposing to god and all his creators.

3. Why did Satan fall?

The prophet Isaiah, spoke about the fallen of Satan "How did you fall from heaven, o lu’-ci-fer (o day star), son of the morning! who did you cut to the ground, which did weaken the nations! For thou has said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of god: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most high. yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit" (Isaiah 14:12-14).

So from that we see that the main sin of Satan is pride, rebellion from god and the desire of being like god and to sit on the mount of the congregation

Because of that:

i. Satan’s angelic nature changed to evil nature, loves sin and encouraging it.

ii. Satan became the greatest enemy for god, and his people, trying to deviate them to become like him, thinking that this might break the kingdom of god.

iii. By his fall there is no returning back or repentance, that’s why the fate is known as god had prepared for him "the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever" (revelation 20:10).

iv. Satan knows his fate and hate the idea that the man that god had created on his image is blessed by being with god, so he is trying always to separate human from god and trying to attract them to his fate.

v. Till today Satan, has the desire of being like god, so he is always trying to deviate people from worshipping god to worshipping him.

In the past Satan was able to deviate people attention from god, by praying to status, animals, sun ... etc.. till the time that there were no one has the fear of god, but the people of Israel, and as we know in some instances they worshipped the cow.

Now, Satan is trying other ways by sins, so people become servants for their own sins, by that they will be apart from god.. as god had to destroy the earth and save only Noah and his family as they were the only righteous living. (Genesis 7)

The followers of Satan in this world live with few of his rules:

Was God fair to Satan?

some people take the other side and starts to defend Satan, considering him as the victim.

lets analyze this theory:

1. Satan fell with complete knowledge: Satan was a cherub, full of eyes that are also full of knowledge, he was very near to god’s throne.. s when he tried to be as god, he did that with a full understanding of his wrong doing

2. Satan fell with his own will: god created Satan with full freedom, as all the other angels, but Satan chose the wrong way, thought of himself as equal to god.

3. Satan wasn’t misled:when Satan fell, there were no other evil though to direct him to do so, he wasn’t misled by any body, so his no excuse for sin, and doesn’t need god’s sympathy.

4. Satan doesn’t has a body that attracts him to sin: Satan is a spirit, doesn’t has a human body.. that might direct him to do sin.

from all these reasons, we find that Satan will never repent from his sins, will never go to god as his nature changed to darkness, evil, nature.

for the same reason also man deserved salvation:

as when man fell into sin

- he was ignorant, as he didn’t have the whole truth.

- Satan misled him.

- the body with its desires directs man to sin.

- man likes repentance and love to be in the presence of god.

Satan Names from the bible:

1. Al-Shitan: from the Hebrew word shaten or resenting.

2. Dipoles: Greek word means dictator, liar.

3. The great dragon: for his power.(Rev. 12:9)

4. Old serpent: for his mikedness.(Rev. 12:9)

5. Deceiveth the whole world.(Rev. 12:9)

6. He is a liar and the father of it.(John 8:44)

7. The prince of this world.(John 12:31)

8. Enemy.(Matt. 13:28)

9. Wicked one.(Matt. 13:19)

10. The tempter.(Matt. 4:3)

Limitations of Satan:

In spite of all his characters, the holy bible states very obviously that Satan is limited, truly he is stronger than man, but never equals god..and he only moves in the limits that god had made for him and we see this very obvious in Job’s book (Job 1:12) "and the lord said unto Satan, behold, all that he has is in your power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand."

Satan and the fall of man:

Since god created man on his image, after his likeness (Genesis 1:26), and Satan never stopped from envying human, and worked hard to take this pleasure of being in the presence of god and from enjoying his fatherhood.

So he approached eve with the same way he approach all of us till today which is:

1. Questioning the promises of god, "is it true that god said, you shall eat of every tree of the garden?... you shall not surely die. ... for in the day you eat from that tree, your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:2-6)

god by his fatherhood love and kindness, wanted to prevent man from evil, but Satan doubted this love, and led eve to think that god is limiting there freedom, and that god want them to be without knowledge of the unknown...which is the same way Satan approach us these days too.

2. Lying and deceiving:

Satan now that god is honest, but he made eve believe that he is lying to them, and they wouldn’t die if they eat from the tree.

3. Pride:

which the same sin that made Satan fall, so he said to her "you shall be as gods" by all these tricks Satan was able to let man fall.

from that we can say that Satan had dominance on the earth, and also the owner of any soul that dies without being saved from the primary sin..

Satan knew god’s plans for salvation, and also knew about the incarnation by Jesus Christ, for salvation of his people and bringing them back to heaven, as Satan knows very well the holy books and the prophesies about awaiting Christ.

Satan trembled when he heard the angels singing "Glory to god in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men" (Luke 2:14), announcing the born of the savior Jesus Christ, and also when "the heaven were opened unto him, and the spirit of god descended like dove, and lighting upon him and god’s voice from heaven saying This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased" (Math. 3:16-17), also; hearing john the Baptist saying "Behold the lamb of god, which take away the sin of the world" (John 1:29), started thinking is he the one that Isaiah prophesied about him saying "All we like sheep have gone astray, ... and the lord had laid on him the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 53:6). Is he truly the awaited savior? why john said "After me comes a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me" (John 1:30), why does john say before me?

from this moment Satan launched a war against Jesus, he tried to win it fast by pushing king herod to kill all the babies of Bethlehem, but he failed.. then he tried to tempt Jesus on the mountain., as the bible say "Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil" (Matt 4:1) so he was being tempted during the whole 40 days, then at the end of his fasting "he was hungry" so "the tempter came to him".

Satan Tempting Jesus;

1. "command the stone be made bread"

A. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every ward that proceed out of the mouth of god"

2. "if you are the son of god cast yourself down; for it is written, he shall give his angels charge concerning you and in their hands        they shall bear you up.."

A. "the no tempt lord thy god"

3. "all these things will give you, if you will fall down and worship me"

A. "Thou shall worship the lord thy god, and him only shall thou serve"

Satan was skeptical is Jesus the son of god or not, but Jesus with his answers Satan couldn’t stay with him and left, and the angels came and ministered Jesus.

The lord Jesus didn’t question satins authority but instead explode him out saying "get thee hence Satan" or (get away from me Satan), god is teaching us how to send Satan away also, this wasn’t the only time that Jesus said, but he repeated it when he spoke to his disciples about crucifixion and peter answered "godforbid" Jesus replied "get thee behind me Satan" ( Matt. 16:22) as Jesus knew that it is Satan speaking on peters tongue.

that who tells Satan to go away, has to get ride also of all that remind him of Satan, and get away for his self "Escape for your life; look not behind you, neither stay in all the plain" (Genesis 19:17)

learn how to escape from Satan, ask for god’s help, and you will be always in peace.
