Garfield
He talks too much, he sleeps too much, he eats too much, he is cynical, loose, lazy and adorable. He always wake up in a bad mood, and he is a real monster untill he gets his first cup of coffee. He can't support runners and confront the dogs. There is no one single lasagna safe when he is around. We are talking about the most popular cat in the world, Garfield.
Garfield born in the kitchen of Mama Leone's Italian restaurant in 1978. Immediately, he showed an ardent passion for italian food, specially lasagna. He has an aversion to diet and exercise. He hates Mondays and spiders, but enjoy hunting the mailman and assalting the refrigerator. But Garfield is not all sarcasm and sass; he also has a soft side. He really loves his huggable teddy bear, Pooky, who is his confidant. Garfield shares his deepest thoughts and his deepest sleeps with him.
Jon Arbuckle, a cartoonist, is the owner of Garfield and Odie. He is a little exasperated and dull, but he is a decent man. Jon has little success with women, especially Dr. Liz, Garfield's veterinary. Consequently, Jon spends many wild evenings sorting his socks.
Odie is a very friendly dog who lives with Garfield and Jon. He is constantly wagging his tail, panting, and drooling, with his big red tongue hanging out of his mouth. He runs after cars, chases his tail, barks idiotically and is terribly uncoordinated.
One of Garfield's favorite pastimes is abusing Odie -- stuffing his nose into his mouth, tieing his ears in a bow beneath his chin, and the daily ritual, when Garfield kicks Odie off the kitchen table.
Another pastime of Garfield is mailing Nermal -- self-proclaimed "world's cutest kitten" -- to Abu Dabhi. Nermal always receives all the attencion because he is cute; Nermal also taunts Garfield about his looks and age, making Garfield remember that he is not a kitten anymore; this left Garfield really furious.
Deep down, Garfield loves Jon and Odie (just not as much as he loves himself, of course). After all, the mirror is Garfield's best friend...
