You know, that's a question that most people are afraid to ask! Not you though! Your here, so you must be asking. Well the answer is
YES!
There are a WEALTH of web sites out there devoted to this question. Here I will try to point you to a few that I feel are the best at getting you what you need to know. The most important thing you need to know is how your local government officals feel about it! After all, they are the ones that have the power to change the law.. which means we have to be careful with our votes! If you don't know who your representatives and senators are, and what their view on hemp is, then you need to start here:

If your
wondering how exactly hemp can save our planet, well you are
gonna be amazed. Hemp is one of the most versatile herbs God has
planted on earth. You can use it to make cotton products, paper
products, even PLASTIC stuff! Did you know that the US
Constitution and Declaration of Independence are written on paper
made of hemp? George Washington grew it!
We cut down trees left and right, and wonder why our ozone layer has holes! One acre of
hemp can produce the same amount of paper product as 4 acres of
trees. We need the trees to make the oxygen we breath.. it takes
anywhere from 40 -100 years for the trees to produce the same
amount of product as they did before we so heartlessly choped
them down. With the hemp, you can get a new crop every six

What's sad is that the people who could really make a difference, our congressmen, should know this stuff too! There is a wealth of information out there for them. It is sad to say, but I believe the people who pay get their say. What do I mean by that? Well, who gives the biggest political contributions to our congressmen? The pharmaceutical industry would be one of the biggest. Not only are there environmental uses for cannabis, but studies have shown that smoking cannabis can bring relief to people suffering from diseases like cancer, aids, and even firbromyalgia. Heck.. once in a while we all can use a chill pill. Why can't it be an herbal one? It has to be a man made one. Do they really believe they can do something better than God can?
Our congressmen have even heard the studies.

The info is out there. Why they won't listen we can never understand. What I believe we must do is be informed ourselves. Know how the people that are running the country feel, and remember THEY work for US. If you don't vote.. SHAME ON YOU! You have no right to bitch. Get registered, and VOTE! I will have some letters from the congressmen I feel we need to beware of up soon!
