2. article Nature of the society
The society is a scientific one. Which means that everything done in its name shall be done with a scientific attitude.
3. article Purpose
The purpose of the society is to increase open-mindedness and knowledge of its members in as many fields as possible, with the appropriate methods. The society shall fight the specialization of mind and attitude, which tendency is towards in a modern specialized world. An example of ways to achieve those goals is ; lectures, of members and guests, discussions, organized debates and observation tours. The topics of discussion can be very general or very specialized. In the latter case, the lecturers are asked to present their topic in a way that will fit as wide group of audiences as possible.
The society shall, as well, encourage their members to do studies and research on their own. They can work by them selves or, which is better, in co-operation with other members, which may have their expertise in a remote field. In that way subjects can be seen from many sides. This will also enhance their communicational and cooperational skills. To encourage such cooperation is one of the main purpose of the society.
The scientific society is an ideal site for members to get a general or specialized criticism on their work. Whether their work is complete or in process.
An effort shall be made to have people from as many fields of science as possible in the society.
Members are encouraged to show initiative. They are to present their suggestions to the chairman.
4. article Positions
The society has two positions; a chairman and a secretary. The are selected in a secret ballot in main-meetings. The member with the most number of votes gets the position.
The chairman shall observe the will and projects of the members. Encourage them to research and to present it. He shall initiate meetings and projects, in as close collaboration with members as is possible
The secretary shall take notes and preserve them.
5. article Meetings
Chairman summons members and guests to meetings and decides the time, place and form. The decision shall be made with the convenience of the members in mind. The chairman of the society is the controller of the meeting.
Announcements of a meeting shall reach the members not less than a week before the time of the meeting.
The consumption of alcohol is forbidden in meetings and intoxicated people are not allowed entrance to meetings.
Main-meetings shall be held 12 - 13 months after the last one. Preferably festivities of some kind should follow.
6.article New members
To become a member of the society, 2/3 of the members must agree to that in a secret ballot.
