A BETTER ROAD TO CHOOSE
by Greg Pulju
(A Christian Take Off From Robert Frost Great Poem,
"A Road Less Traveled")
With so many roads left to choose
I'll do my best to take the right one
To take the one I have least to loose
And probably not follow yours, his or who's
And know that it takes a lot to get done;
I may take a couple in the wrong direction
Thinking it has a bit more to offer
And showing the faults of the first with major objection
I'm sure I'll choose right after a little reflection
And trying my best not to be such a scoffer
When realizing all have choices good and bad
And knowing each step one takes may be great
With others that I make, I wish I not had
Yet knowing how life's mistakes won't always be sad
And trust in the Father to reach the right gate
I'll take what I've learned in poetry and life
Down the roads I travel thus hence
The roads that I take will carry love and yes strife
But I'll not worry with God and others in my life
With whatever road I take Jesus and people make all the difference.
