Caught up in my sheltered world
Don't know what to think
Sit in here while my life goes by
And tears roll down evertime I blink
There's a pain in my heart like somethings not there
You smile at me because you know it's not fair
And the rain is like a thousand tears
And my dreams are full of countless fears
I'm waiting,
waiting to see the future through someone else's eyes
Waiting to see what happens
when I'm the one who dies
And the stars shine bright in the dark velvet sky
And just for one moment
I almost forgot to cry
