Voodoo Girl

by Michelle Meeks (15)

She walks through the halls
Of her high school
Others stare at her
Like she's such a fool
She keeps to herself
and wears dark clothes
She wears black makeup And pierced is her nose
Preppy girls talk
Behind her back
Just because
Her favorite color's black
The guys don't mess with her
Because of what the girls say
She doesn't care though
Let them do what they may
After school she walks home
Down the dark alley streets
Not even noticing
The strangers she meets
Into her house
And into her room
She starts to think
And plans their doom
She reaches into her bag
And pulls out a doll
Such a perfect little thing
Not very tall
She thinks of Susie
A huge prep
Her perfect blonde hair
Has kept her her rep
She has an idea
She takes out a bottle of acid
And dumps it on the doll's head
Then puts back on the lid
No more hair
The golden blonde is gone
She knows what she did
Was not so wrong
She pulls out another doll
From her bookbag
A muscular guy
The kind that would brag
Adam the football star
Comes to her mind
He was always a jerk
And so unkind
She lights up a match
And burns all his skin
Then through his foot
She puts a pin
She is pleased for today
But tommorow she'll hurt more
Just think about who your dealing with
Before you ignore.
