To Recaptivate

by Donna Chen (15)

Another year passed by
Metal like experiences
Carved in a memory of stone
Stillframes of frozen art
In a galary of the subconsciousness
Little traces of laughter and joy
Amidst all the sadness and despair
The slithering, shiny silver threads
On a plain, worn-out cotton dress
Old flames, new burns
In boiling red poison
A wicked fascination
Hard to let go
Trying to put together
What has already fallen apart
Another year passed by
