All that shimmers,
All that glistens, sparkles with light
Is sure to fade away
And blacken like night.
Nothing last forever,
Not you, not me, not love.
It all crashed down
Like all stars above.
Happiness and glory
Will fade to sorrow.
And soon life will no longer
Have a tomorrow.
Soon there's nothing in this world
Worth living for.
Not one drop of life
Like there was before.
It all fades to black,
Everything that was bright,
All that shimmers,
Glistens, sparkles with life
