tears fall from my face,
like raindrops from the sky,
when all I can think about on this gloomy day is you and I,
even though the sun is shining,
my heart is dark and gray,
because I've loved you forever and got nothing back,
I've given you my heart and soul,
and all you've given me is your friendship,
you've been a best friend to me but I need more,
will it ever happen?
will we ever be together?
only time can tell, now, then, or never.
will we stay together forever, or just be memories from the past?
what lies for us in years to come?
a single tear runs down my cheek,
and dreams run through my head,
will my heart ever be sunny again?
will the rain ever stop?
only time can tell!
