You're in love with her, not me.
If only you'd open up your eyes you'd see.
That I love you and you alone.
I'm afraid to close my eyes because I know you'll be gone.
We'll never be together, it's just a dream.
I shouldn't fantasize so foolishly, things are not as they seem.
I keep hoping for something that cannot possibly be real.
I wish I could just forget the way I feel.
Things would be much easier if you would give me a chance.
Something, a thoughtful word, a second glance.
Like a fool I'm rushing in on impulse, so unaware.
I want to throw all caution to the wind, live without a care.
But I can't it's impossible to do.
I'm always thinking of you.
I'm so envious of the way you look at her, I want you to look at me that way.
I want you to listen with intensity to every word I say.
I want you to love me with all your heart.
I need you to care for me before I fall apart.
It's ripping at my soul, tearing up my mind.
You don't know what I'd give to hear you say "I love you" just one time.
