On Chance of Seeing Beauty

by Rian Borgia (17)

Standing against these walls
I waited for you to pass through
For you to step into this hall
In love I was, but you never knew

You finally came within my sight
I stood not talking but transfixed
The aura you gave off burned so bright
And it was a feeling I would not miss

My God you were beautiful in my eyes
With your black hair and white skin
It made me think about that guy
And talk to you I would not dare

The morning bell began to ring
And Government was to start
A voice began to praise and sing
That passion had entered my heart
