Nothingness

by Angel Guillen (14)

No one knows me
No one sees me
I cannot talk
My only possession is emotion
The cuts on my thin wrists speak for themselves The silence is deafening
No air to breathe
No light to see
The water is getting unbearably cold
The candle outside is quickly dimming
Soon all there will be is moonlight
I lay on my bed and shiver to sleep
praying to never wake up.
