No More Life

by Jessicka Benfield (15)

in the eyes of darkness there is sight,
but the sight is not of light,
instead it's all evil and bad,
nothing glad only sad,
father of darkness has recieved no light,
mother of nature has no rights,
the moon is colored blood red,
death is who this world has wed,
love was devoured by mangling hate,
the sound of death bells is not too late,
chained to a nail bed with more blood flowing,
and all the pain following,
this is hell in some eyes,
some give this as torture for telling lies,
the blood flows into a scarlet red river of death,
and from there it flows into the Ocean of Death,
none survive this deadly sin,
and none will ever win,
genocide is how it’s going to end,
everything seems dead even the wind,
decaying bodies lie in rows,
and the rest; as it goes,
is fed on for food,
now it’s all of humanity who is screwed,
death is always found at the core,
no this is not hell, it’s our own golden war.
