My Heart in Your Hands

by Morgan Hewitt (13)

You stole my heart,
and kept it to this day.
You don't know you have it,
but I think you should know anyway.
When our eyes met for the very first time,
I blushed tomato red.
I don't know if you know it,
but I loved it when you said:
Hello.
Puppy love?
No.
When I first came to this place,
all that was drifting in my mind,
was your smiling face.
Extremely large crush,
for two years and counting.
Lovable, smiling you.
You've stolen it,
and kept it to this day,
my heart in your hands.
