Loss of Innocence
by Talia Ferguson (14)
I was only 14
So naive and young,
So innocent and sweet,
Then I met you,
There was just something about you,
Maybe it was the way you treated me so well,
Or just the sheer power that you have,
And I longed for someone to show me how the world works,
You took me in and I learned to feel comfortable in your presence,
Then it just happened, I closed my eyes and with a sigh and flash of
thoughts, It was gone, I gave my innocence to you, It's like my very
soul belongs to you, Will you stay or will you go it's all up to you
