Just Above Her Shoulder

by Jesse Grenon (16)

If all was right, I'd have her beside me,
I'd bury my face in the place that would hide me.
Her I could love,
Her I could feel,
Her I could cherish,
If all was not real.

For now all I see is no one around me,
No one to feel, for no one has found me.
Someday I hope,
To be at her side,
For until that day,
I've no place to hide.
