With only you on the mind

It's been such a long while
I miss being near you

Something is wrong
Something is not right
The love that once held us together
Is slowly fading out of sight
I see you every day

That you could see
We really had something
It was meant to be

Can we still be friends?

I can't believe it's actually over
I can't believe we're actually through
You gave me no warning
Yet you always knew
You knew we had no chance
You knew it wouldn't last
You knew it wouldn't work this time
Because you knew you couldn't let go of the past
