Time has stopped, the outside world no longer exsists . . .
And all my fears are gone . . .
Here it is only us.
I feel so safe, like nothing can hurt me.
I close my eyes and breathe deeply . . .
The faint smell of you entices me--
The drops of cologne on your collar, the fresh smell of dryer sheets on
your clothes and the sweet smell of your skin . . .
And I breathe seeply again.
I hear nothing but our quiet breathing
And the low rhythmic tempo of your heart as my head rests peacefully
upon your chest.
Then softly you whisper into my ear . . .
"I love you."
For a moment, your warm lips rest gently against my cheek . . .
As I open my eyes, I gaze deeply into yours . . .
I know that this is heaven.
A perfect place where I am safe . . .
Right here in your arms.
