Deranged

by Shasta Rose McDougal (18)

Never wanted a sober thought.
Never saved a carton I bought.
Never knew my mind deranged.
Never thought that I could change.
Always searching for a buzz.
Always hiding from the fuzz.
Always showing that I care.
Always caught too unaware.
Left is where he rest his head.
Left with words I might have said.
Left behind a little dope.
Left my bowl packed to smoke.
Up to now I never show.
Up to now he'll never know.
Up to now the money flows.
Up the nose the poison goes.
