I knew a man,
He said he followed God
and God was in him.
Well I guess not completely...
He said God was watching him always
I say god must have blinked
He took a walk one day
probably to the church
These three guys grabbed him
They tore up his face
Kicking him and punching
“Please God Help ME!”
He cries out while being beaten
He sobbed a one last tear
“Bite the curb and say hello to God”
One man commands him
The lights go out
and this man found fate
God was in him always?
Well except for that day.
