Beauty

by Dennis Donovan (16)

I gaze at your beauty.
Your soft lips, giving a tender kiss,
Your bright eyes, fairest that ever shined,
Your golden hair, flowing like an angel,
Your perfect body and all those dazzling features
make my passion for you burn like the fires of Hell.
As the days and nights go by, I think of you constantly,
yearning to hold you in my arms.
I dream of us sitting under the moonlight,
God's candles shining in the sky,
Your voice speaking so softly into my ears, and
your deep, red lips pressing against mine.
I speak with all of my heart and soul,
but I might come to offense and if I do,
I plead that I smooth my rough touch.
