Dear David,
The only way I know you is through The X-Files and all the other films you have
done-but mostly through The X-Files. That's why I have collected every episode
and every magazine you have appeared in and read every book ever written about
you. But in all of this I still don't know who you really are or what you think
every minute of every day and who you call on the phone just to say hi to and
what your "to do" list consists of or even what your shopping list contains,
but I do know you are the only guy who I'd ever marry in two seconds flat, if
you ever asked. I want you to know that I am behind you all the way and wish
you many years of happiness with Tea and good luck in whatever you do. Thank
you for being someone I can strive to be when I get older.

Things aren't always going to be good in life, so
when things get really crappy the best thing to do
is think of a happy place. My happy place is at
Bead Lake in Spokane Washington. It is a beutiful,
warm summer day, and there is a cool breeze to the
air. The sun is rising over the water, and it
looks like diamonds on the horizon. The trees are
green and the water is crystal blue, and there is
not a single body for miles around except for who
I choose to be there. I hope my happy place will

I, personally, think this poem is true. I am thirteen, David is 38, so there is
a 25-year difference. Who's not to say, in a past life that I was his

season X-Files poster for sale that had David/Mulder and Gillian/Scully
gazing intently out from a background of fog and ufos. I hung it above my
piano, so that whenever I am getting frustrated, I gaze into that intense
face and ask him to help me. Soon afterwards, I am writing a new song.

years ago my life has changed. Besides have a now completely filled x-files room,
Sunday has become a night where my usually tense family can now get together and
watch an hour of good television. It has really brought us together. I just know
