LISTING OF TRADITIONAL LATIN MASSES WHICH HAVE BEEN APPROVED UNDER PAPAL AUTHORITY.

-- REPUBLIC OF HUNGARY --

There are no traditional latin masses in Hungary. However, there are jurisdictions of the Hungarian Byzantine Church in the country; namely, the Eparchy of Hajdudoróg in the east and the Apostolic Vicariate of Miskolc in the west. Byzantine Hungarian masses are probably available on most Sundays in the capital city of Budapest and in most populated areas in the far-east of the country.  It has also been reported that there is a small community of Armenian Catholics at Budapest and that its members assist at the Armenian Catholic liturgy every Sunday.
