Ár nAthair, atá ar neamh:

      Go naofar d'ainm.

      Go dtagaidh do ríocht.

      Go ndéantar do thoil ar an talamh,

      mar dhéantar ar neamh.

      Ár n-arán laethúil tabhair dúinn inniu,

      agus maith dúinn ár bhfiacha,

      mar mhaithimid dár bhféichiúnaithe féin.

      Agus ná lig sinn i gcathú,

      ach saor sinn ó olc.

      Óir is leatsa an Ríocht

 agus an Chumhacht

 agus an Ghlóir,

      tré shaol na saol.

Our Father who art in heaven

Hallowed be thy name

Thy kingdom come

Thy will be done on earth as

It is in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgive us our debts

As we forgive our debtors

and lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from evil

For thine is the kingdom

And the power 

and the glory 

forever
