Stephen Huba’s Aug. 19 article on creationism
does not prove evolution is a "fact".
Evolution is a story of the past made to fit an atheistic framework
of thinking. All radioactive dating methods yield numbers only when assumptions
as to the original content of radioactive isotopes in the sample are made.
As none of us were around to observe this it is impossible to date samples
this way.
Assumptions do not yield facts, only theories. More direct observational
methods reveal the earth to be much younger. Such as the decaying magnetic
field, salt content of oceans, etc. Also, the fossil record lacks transitional
specimens. The much-touted Dino-bird Rahona Ostromi has not been accepted
by all paleontologists as credible. Remember life in Mars rock? Careful
what you print before it has been studied more thoroughly.

Students lack science skills because not
enough time is spent in foundational basics (physics/chemistry) and mathematics,
while too much emphasis is placed upon social and self-esteem programs.
Hard sciences were around long before evolutionary theories and should
be kept separate from one another. I am amazed people don’t see that the
evidence for God’s awesome creative power is all around us.
