Proclaiming the truth

Lord, protect me from your followers. In response to the recent article on "same-sex" marriages, I appreciate the unnamed minister’s wish to remain "hidden" along with the stipulation that the name of his church not be revealed ("I David, take you, Mark," March 23). The service you covered was clandestine, it was a secret service that the God of Abraham omitted Himself from. At least, the pastor was aware of the fact that there is Biblical shame attached to the apostate, mocking God’s design.

The real problem with "sinning with out shame" is that there is no repentance without shame.

It isn’t living without sin, it is living a life ripe with repentance that gives one entrance into the most high. If an individual decides sin is no longer sin (in the life of the sinner),

how can anyone repent honestly before God, for something they have decided is no longer a sin?

I don’t care if the majority of the pastors on Earth decide to become politically correct and ordain, marry, and support homosexual activity. All it will do is prevent the truth from being proclaimed, until it’s too late to correct an eternal error.

Hate is not a family valueChristians are called to love the sinner, not embrace the sin, regardless of how much the sinner is able to defend sin with emotional rationalizations. We are to proclaim the truth so others may enter into eternal life.
