In
response to the letter to the editor, "Don't publish creationists' letters"
[April 30], it is a sad state of affairs that champions for Darwinian evolution
can do nothing better than make idle claims for its validity, without one
shred of evidence, and resort to shutting up the opposition to win their
arguments.
Let us take another look at the accuracy of the Judeo-Christian creation
account versus Darwinism. In the term "creation account," the word
"account" means "an explanation, description or report of an event."
|
It is more a commentary of a factual event,
rather than a mere hypothesis or a theory like Darwin's theory of evolution.
Which account would you give credence to?
Now, look at the term "Darwinism." The suffix "-ism" in the
English language is a jocular reference to a distinct theory, like Darwinism,
which is nothing more than an educated guess and, at best, one man's opinion.
The creation account is not at odds with science either, because
the world was created by God long before the evolution of science, and
science is merely discovering the laws of nature that God put into motion
at creation.
