I guess I should mention my other family members...the ones that come and go as they please.
My mother is still alive and kicking. Her name is Carol Binder Dallaire Sauder Santoro. She also lives in Michigan, and has remarried. Her 3rd husband (or "current" as I like to describe him) is Peter Santoro. She collects stuffed bears, mostly Stieff, and I think her favorite color is red, and she works at the Car-Wash-Formally-Known-As-Jax. I don't know much about her as I only see her about once every other month (since I learned to drive...before, it was more, but then, I didn't care).
My sister Michelle Gullet is a lawyer, has two darling angels for children Sammi and Lindsey, and has been a widow since the end of Feb.. The only time I get to talk to HER is when she wants me to watch the kids. I'm not very popular around her house ever since The Incident with THAT ONE (see last page for brief mention). Things might be getting better, however, as she called me recently to talk about something totally non-kid related--horseback riding. Her husband was a huge, wonderful black man named Ivan who died from Pancreatic Cancer in his early forties.
Grampa Binder and Aunt Janet live about half and hour away from me, driving, but I only get to see them about four times a year--at holidays and family gatherings and such. They're wonderful people, terribly sarcastic, and very tall to a 5' me.
The rest of the Dallaire family.... Well, that would take a while to explain....So I won't. Not now. There is also Dale's family to consider, and my mother's (I have only the slightest clue about most of them...they live in Ohio, I think), and others.
