Here are my oriental poppies already coming up. In just 2 months, they will be blooming a brilliant orange! |

A dear friend from England sent me Icelandic Poppy seeds last year. They dropped their seed last summer, and now are beginning to grow again. These were coming up under the snow and leaves. Isn't it awesome how the desire to grow can overcome all. If these poppies are coming up, can you doubt that soon we will be celebrating their bloom?
I saw blue birds about three weeks ago. My first robin said hello last week. The red-winged blackbirds are back preparing nests by our pond. The grackles have once more invaded our bird feeder. I have seen flocks of geese flying North once more. And I know I saw a bug fly by me yesterday in the garden.
Celebrate spring! I know it is here. |
