Jeff Norris, the Best Man, and his wife, Kamala.  Jeff works for JPL in Pasadena on the Mars Rover project (he's part of the alien cover-up).

Mike Baldwin, another Tufts friend and a systems analyst at Houghton-Mifflin, looks forward to moving to sunny California soon.
